Established during 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family company within the Northern Italy's largest industrial location. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide range of forklifts, presses, farming equipments and prefabrication molds.
In 1963, the business began crane production. The company eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
