Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck offering great height and versatility. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to raise the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard lift trucks can not move the load away from and towards the cab of the forklift, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally utilized in both construction and agriculture. It is recommended for applications where greater control and lift is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are better in situations needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It is available with a backrest which protects the cargo from damage.
A sleep sheet forklift will normally utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specifically to lift workers. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a chain or strap that is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the workers from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
