Used Carelift Zoom Boom Roseville

Rough terrain forklifts have been manufactured by CareLift Equipment, since the year 1962. Each day the company strives to deliver value and help all their consumers reach their objectives as they know the bottom line is reliability and performance.

There are 2 general types of boom lifts. These units are straight boom lifts and articulated boom lifts. Usually, these units are powered hydraulically. Most often straight booms are the ideal alternative for tasks that require a high reach with no obstructions. The turntable on the equipment is capable of rotating 360 degrees with an extendable boom. This extendable boom is able to be raised vertically to below horizontal. As the operator is able to maneuver and steer the vehicle while the boom is fully extended, it is a versatile equipment. These models come in diesel, propane or gas configurations as well as 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive.

Articulated boom lifts are utilized for lifting loads up and over obstacles and gain access to areas that were otherwise not accessible. These lift models carry out tasks which straight telescopic booms cannot do. These lifts are almost identical to the straight boom lift in most aspects except in the boom's ability to articulate. There are various articulation points on the boom in order to allow it to bend in a range of different directions allowing it to move around any objects easily within the work environment.

To be able to maintain stability while the boom lift is fully extended, some heavy-duty boom lifts come outfitted with outriggers. The outriggers provide the operator with some extra confidence and safety. Proper training is necessary before using boom lifts in order to guarantee the jobsite, the operator and everybody working in the vicinity stays safe.

Boom lifts enable jobs that used to require many more man power to be carried out in a much shorter time period. These equipment have really increased production and have revolutionized the material handling industry.
